I was so happy reading the first half of Hot & Spicy by P.T. Macias. Such a sweet and wonderful love story full of plenty of erotic love scenes. I was content to be in love with Jessy and Jose Enrique, but P.T. Macias had other ideas. The plot turned to violence, drama, drug cartels, murder, and ultimately rescue. Add in the CIA, FBI and Navy SEALs, and Hot & Spicy is a totally winning combination. I absolutely LOVED this book and love that it is a series. All of the characters are deeply etched into my heart.

"Hot, Hot, Hot!"

P.T Marcias has created a sizzling saga of romance, hot intimacy and suspense with the De La Cruz family. I like that you get to read the characters thoughts in italics so you get both perspectives and reactions to all the goings on between the sheets and outside of them! I also really liked the use of Spanglish, which I thought was easy to get the hang of. I've even been using it with my husband (Esposo) and he loves it! This story was about the CEO of the family company making an offhand teasing comment about bringing his serious girlfriend/fiancé to the big 25th year company ball. Problem is there's no girlfriend and the whole extended family is so happy and excited he feels he can't take back what he said. It is a story of an anxious search and the journey after that with lots of side stories of family members, who's own journeys are told later in the series. It's definitely been a hot & spicy read!

Be aware that there are a lot of errors and typos which I can't believe got past the editing phase of publishing and although a bit distracting, doesn't take away from what is a great first story in the series.

This book is an awesome read...full of adventure, culture and very, very sexy. The author helps the reader to understand the hispanic culture; incorporates family values and the dynamics of two people falling in love while experiencing how to work together to run a family business and live to unite. Awesome read.
I really like this book alot it has everything intrigue love sadness and everything in between. P.T. Macias has a unique writing style that puts you in the now of the story so u can experience it as they do there is some spanish mixed in and i love it because it makes me feel a little closer to the characters. The De La Cruz family has strong values and they are all supportive of each other this book can be read as a standalone all in the series can.
Jose Enrique De La Cruz is the eldest of los primos. He's completely in command of the familia's empire. Jose Enrique is expected to introduce his fiancée to la familia at the company's 25th anniversary celebration. La familia
has no clue that he doesn't have one so he enlists the help of his sister to find him a girlfriend. I am addicted to this series and the characters and cant wait to read them all.
This book is the engaging, entertaining and smoldering hot story of a large Latino family living in Southern California.

There are 100's of reasons to love this book and the author used all 450+ pages to enchant us with the meeting, loving and commitment of this group of close knit family members with the true love of their lives.

The "Spanglish" used is entertaining and yet poignant as I felt the author used it as a tool to help the reader recognize the depth of feelings these siblings, cousins, aunts uncles and parents all have for one another.

The pace is fast, there are some nasty bad guys, some dirty dancing and a whole lot of loving going on throughout the pages of Hot and Spicy De La Cruz Saga. Be warned you will be "one clicking" all Ms. Patricia Macias' books when you recover from the ending of this one!

This is a 5 Star book, I did take away one star for the typo's and grammitcal errors, but know for a fact that the editing is much better the further in the series you read.
I absolutely couldn't put this book down. The characters were very interesting and well rounded. I loved that the couples are equals. I was nervous about the twists in the action at the end but was glad to see the characters pull through. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens. P.T Macias is a fabulous author and takes great care with her characters and their story lines. I will recommend this book and the rest of the series to my friends and family.
Love the strong family values & support they show for one another in this story. Even though it was somewhat wordy for me, I enjoyed reading both perspectives from each side. The characterization was very intriguing, although the plot started out slow it gained momentum as the story progressed. The sexual scenes started out hot & spicy but gradually tapered off as the plot thickened, however the love for one another never ceased to amaze me! As I continue on this wonderful reading journey known as the De La Cruz Saga, I hope to see the plot even out through this series along with the sensual scene so it will make for an even better flowing read. The Spanglish added throughout this book was an incredible surprise and I hope it continues through this series. It took some getting use to, cause I'm not a Spanish speaking person but I got the hang of it and enjoy using some of the words on a daily basis.

I recommend this book for those romance and erotic readers. I couldn't put it down, it is a real page turner. It made me blush and I read a snip of a chapter to my husband and this made him blush. He then stated, "Wow"! I have to get my own copy". He didn't know that this book lives up to it's title Hot & Spicy for sure!! Can't wait for the rest of the Saga to come out.
